What’s a Keyword and can I purchase a plan and add Keywords to it? A Keyword is the word a person sends a text to in order to receive a response of some kind from a company. These keywords are registered specifically to your business and you control that keyword for the life of the agreement. And yes, any MM plan can have additional keywords. Each keyword added to a plan is an additional $15/month.
Once I register a keyword, for how long do I own it? Your keyword remains in your account for as long as you make the monthly payments. If you cancel your account or fail to make your payment, the keyword becomes available for others to register after 30 days.
What is a “short code”? A short code is a 5 or 6 digit number people use (instead of a long 10 digit number) to send your keyword to our platform and participate in your campaigns.
What are “Customers”? This is simply the numbers of customers/fans/followers you have in your database. This establishes what marketing plan will best fit your mobile marketing needs.
Do I own my database? Yes, any and all mobile numbers that are added to your database from your existing lists or campaigns run to grow that database are owned and used exclusively by you. No other business has access to your list without your permission. Also if you stop using our services we will send you an *exported list of all your data. *Note: There is an exporting service fee of $10/thousand charge for databases larger than 5000 numbers.
What does “Blast” mean? Each time you send a message to a mobile phone, you are charged one credit. Sending out a “blast” is simply messaging your entire customer database list. There are ways to filter and set up separate lists message people in smaller groups. Please talk to our reps about you needs and how that might be applied if you have need of it.
What are “Campaigns”? Every campaign is set up and initiated through our platform. We provide this as a management service to all our clients. We are happy to make slight changes to the text response message that people receive texting into your keyword. But we do limit the amount of full message/campaign response changes we can do at no charge. That said it is unlikely you will need to exceed the amount we have set up in each plan. (Again, if we need to customize this for you we can. Please just bring it up to us.) What if I need a larger plan then is shown above? For our larger clients we service your needs on an individual basis and go over a tailored plan created specifically for your mobile marketing needs.
I don’t know how many messages per month I will be sending. Which package should I choose? If you are unsure of how many message you need it is recommended to set up the account to start on the MM Interest package. If the messages run low we can always move up to the next package size. When you have a good idea of how many you use each month and the size the database is staying close to it we become clean what plan will work best long term.
Can I start with the lower plan and then upgrade if I need more? Yes, just contact our office at 503-626-6900 or call you account manager to change your plan.
